Now that I own the Frame TV and can easily stream from the internet, I've been bingeing The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and am presently obsessed with her Mid-Century Modern decor style...so bewitched, that sometimes I forget about the storyline and just nerded out over the furniture. If you're a lover of 1950's interiors and fashion, rea[...]
If you read my organization tips post, you already know the New Year is THE time to wipe the slate clean. January is all about getting organized and giving your home a refresh. It's also the time to keep your eyes peeled for the ever-popular White Sale. I for one have been on the lookout for some deals on new bedding for the guest bedroo[...]
2018 is going to be the year wallpaper shines. I can't tell you how many estate sales I attended where it was the star. Time capsule homes with wallpaper in the bathroom, master bedroom, living room, and even on the ceiling. I'd snap a picture, post it to Instagram Stories and the response was bonkers. From then to now, one thing's for s[...]
This month, I'm hosting the neighborhood moms group for a holiday party, and that means I've gotta get this house party-ready, so I thought, what better time to share my holiday entertaining tips and tricks! I walked in thinking inspiration for the kitchen and walked out thinking let's makeover the entire house. We toured the Cambria Processing Facility and got to se[...]
It wasn't until recently that I started shopping thrift stores. The smell at Goodwill kinda skeezed me out, and more often than not, they are full of discarded junk that no one wants. Broke vases, mismatched glasses, holiday decor, old pots and pans, 100s of vases you get from the floral shop, fake Coach purses...shelf after shelf after[...]
Vintage modern home office? Hmmm, if that's not a dichotomy, I'm not sure what is. There may not be such a design style, but that's the look I'm for in my home office. Last year I ditched my old white IKEA cabinets and tabletop for an old vintage pine desk. Kind of a nod to my dining room table and keeping the theme of mixing o[...]
When Sengled Lightbulbs asked if I wanted to try their wireless smart lightbulbs, I was like, ummmm, it's a lightbulb. *shrugs* What's to try, right? Before I agreed, I typed Sengled into google to do a little research and soon found out that these were not your ordinary lightbulbs. Wireless Smart Lightbulbs The Boy i[...]
