Found & Foraged Linky Party #32

It’s Saturday night! Welcome to the Found & Foraged Linky Party! As most of you know, having a really exciting blogger day is few and far between, but I had some serious excitement last Sunday afternoon. I had my first viral post…courtesy of Buzzfeed! My Champagne Smash cocktail recipe was #5 on the list. I was totally doing the Snoopy dance…and still am. I also took over the Chairish blog for the day to share my tips and tricks on styling your nightstand.

On the blog, I’m hosting a giveaway with Cellular Window Shades. If you’re in the market for window treatments or know anyone who is, go enter to win. I recently installed them in the house, and they are awesome. I also posted a new cocktail recipe called a Hugo over on Live Laugh Rowe. My mother-in-law introduced it to me while visiting Germany; it’s delicious! If you have the ingredients, I highly suggest you go make yourself one now.

Today, I went to the Randolph Flea Market in downtown Chicago and got to meet Canary Lane. Their kilim rugs from Turkey are swoon worthy, as is the handmade furniture. Incredibly sweet and wonderful people. Their site is being revamped, but you can check out their Facebook or Instagram. Just don’t buy the one twenty rugs that I’m lusting over. Anyhoo, back to the flea, I picked up some really great treasures and can’t wait to share them with you.

I also got a tweet from Summer Thornton Design yesterday about their 2-Day Moving Flea. Score of the century you guys! A gold faux bamboo etagere that is out or this world AND an almost matching bar cart. If you don’t know Summer, her designs have been recently featured in Lonny Magazine, Domino and Rue Magazine just to name a few. Ya, she’s kind of a big deal. I’ll be doing a post soon on the entire haul from today. Let’s start this party already!
