It's finally time to share the final installment of the New Year, New Room Challenge hosted by my friend Stephanie of Casa Watkins Home. Rather than a full room makeover, I took on a smaller project and decided to organize the kitchen pantry because it was a hot mess. Is it Pinterest perfect where everything is in a matching canister? No[...]
As you know, I embarked on an easy kitchen pantry organization project for the New Year New Room Challenge hosted by Casa Watkins Home. I ordered a couple of storage bins and lazy susans, and while I waited for my delivery to arrive, I decided to jump right in. Completely spur of the moment. My impulsive ADHD brain said just empty everyt[...]
Last week, I shared that I would be refreshing my kitchen pantry for the New Year New Room challenge hosted by my friend Stephanie of Casa Watkins Home. The kitchen may look clean and tidy, but behind that pantry door lies a hot mess of food items with more than a few expiration dates past their prime. Because this is a smaller pantry, t[...]
I just signed up for the New Year New Room Challenge 2024 hosted by my friend Stephanie from Casa Watkins Home. She hosts this tradition annually and challenges a few friends (linked at the bottom of this post) and me to refresh a space in our homes, document it, and share the progress weekly for January. The space has a storage room attached to it, and I thought, huh, that would make a great mini home gym! Now, we're talking pre-stay-at-home orders, so how on point was that idea? Since 2020, my home gym equipment has e[...]

The kids are finally back in school, and summer is dunzo, although someone needs to tell Mother Nature because last week was hotter than the surface of the sun here in Chicago. I'm not quite ready for fall, but I am here for 73° temperatures. Let's get into a[...]
College dorm room decor has come a long way since I graduated high school. Since it's time for back to school shopping (BTDubs, where did summer go?), I thought, let's go beyond the college girl papasan chair and explore creative dorm room decorating ideas like peel and stick wallpaper, colorful wall decor, and multif[...]
I've been writing this blog for over 10 years, I sometimes feel like I'm just learning how to blog because I've never shown proper before and afters. That changes today! Behold a boring, outdated bathroom that was transformed into a simple yet stunning black and white bathroom. This is an older renovation, back when the basement flooded,[...]
One of the biggest events of the year is finally here. Today and tomorrow is Amazon Prime Day, and I use it to shop for home basics and to get a jump start on my holiday shopping. I get a sneak peek at all the deals and pick through LIT TRA LEE hundreds of thousands of items to help you navigate your way to this massive sale. Let's go![...]
