Yep, I’ve been hearing that a lot lately…lots of folks asking me about the sofa I chose for the DesignOff. Today I’m going to break it down and talk about a bit about the Chicago-based furniture company Interior Define, and why I chose the Caitlin sofa.
Hi friend! Can you feel the excitement is in the air today? Today is final reveal day for the DesignOff between Jojotastic and myself sponsored by Decorist. All the hard work has finally come to fruition. In case you’re new to this neck of the interwebs woods, Joanna and I got a little crazy and decided to lose all control of our new homes to let you, our reader, vote on which DesignOff project we should move forward with. WHAAA!?!? At first I thought I was completely insane, and I’ll admit to having a couple nightmares of Hildi Santo Tomas from Trading Spaces, gluing hay to my walls. EEEEP! But when I opened the email and saw the initial mood boards, I let out the biggest sigh of relief! My interior designer, Ashley Redmond, blew both designs outta the water.
Be sure to stop over to Jojotastic to check out her final reveal as well! And don’t forget, Decorist is offering a super generous 20% off your next design project. Just use the promo code DesignOff20 when you check out. Also, be sure to hop on over to Rue Magazine tomorrow for their final wrap of the Decorist DesignOff.
You wanna know who’s dripping with talent? Ashley Redmond from Decorist, that’s who. This interior design super hero crushed the mood boards for my living room project. Jojotastic, you’re going down girl.
Quick recap, you were asked to choose which mood board design I should moved forward with. You commented, emailed, direct messaged…I think I even saw a few smoke signals…and for quite a while the boards were neck and neck. Neutral Glam was ahead then it was Eclectic Vintage. I want to thank you all for weighing in. It’s been so exciting to watch it all unfold…have you been keeping up? If not, here is Part 1 and Part 2. Don’t worry, I’ll wait right here for you to catch up…I’ll just be standing here, dancing…come on, click on the jump for the mood board reveal…seriously, I have ants in my pants.
OH! AND THIS JUST POPPED INTO MY INBOX! Decorist wants to celebrate the mood board reveals. They’re hosting a special flash sale. So, if you were thinking about hiring them, now is your chance to save. Just use the code DesignOff30 to receive 30% off a Classic or Elite Design Package. And now I’ll bet you’re dancing too!
It’s an exciting day here at House Of Hipsters. Today is the big reveal of the DesignOff sponsored by Decorist mood boards, and I need your help. Hold up, are you asking yourself, “What are these mood boards you speak of?” Well, if you want the full monty, you can catch the instant replay over here on this post, but if not, here’s the quick recap. But real quick, before we get started, Decorist is offering a super generous 20% off your next design project. Just use the promo code DesignOff20 when you check out.
So here’s the dealio, my girl, Jojotastic and I recently purchased new homes, and we were both jonesing for a project…mainly because we are a glutton for punishment because who in there right mind says, “Hey I moved! Let’s get crazy”. Decorist heard the news and thought wouldn’t it be fun to have a friendly little competition and teamed us up with two of their fabulous interior designers and let you, my sweet kittens, pick which interior design board concept to move forward with…insert Weary Cat Face emoji (and yes, I had to visit the Emojipedia for that definition…and yes, there really is an emoji dictionary URL. Thank you Google.) Holy run on sentence. So I’m putting my fate into you. Well, you and Ashley Redmond my DesignOff interior designer extraordinaire. This chicky is the bomb dot com and has style for miles.
After happily agreeing to these shenanigans, I put all my trust into her with only a tiny bit of Pinspiration. But I already knew what kinda of fun I was getting myself into. Ashley and I teamed up last year and decked out the guest room in the old house; so you can only imagine how thrilled I was to learn we’d be working together again.
Wanna get into it? Let’s roll. Can I have a drum roll please…
I’m definitely no longer on vacation in Puerto Rico…reality set in weeks ago. But that doesn’t mean I can’t bring the beach back home. The sun is shining, and the boxes from the move are unpacked (mostly because of The Boy’s Type A personality). My job here is done which means I can kick back, relax, and soak up some sun. It’s time enjoy the new patio, sponsored by World Market, with a summer time drink in my hand. Today, I’m going to share with you The Lime In The Coconut cocktail recipe because it’s magically delicious! If it was acceptable, I’d swim around in a vat of this drink.
