Found & Foraged Linky Party #33

Happy 4th of July you guys! Well, I’m sure a lot of you won’t be linking up right at 8PM tonight because you’re watching a beautiful display of fireworks. In fact, you’re probably reading this, enjoying your coffee, and it’s actually July 5th. Don’t worry, I’m not holding it against ya! Besides, unless it’s Wednesday at noon, you’re never late to the Found & Foraged Linky Party.

This past week was a good one for me. I feel like I’m finally catching up. I showed off my recent vintage rattan finds, and I finally posted Part 2 of my Decorist guest bedroom makeover. I have only a few more things to accomplish on the to-do-list, and I’ll be posting the final reveal. The painter was here yesterday, and I just returned from Sherwin Williams. Swatches in hand. Who knew picking out the perfect white could be so difficult???

We had so many great projects last week, you all made it very difficult to pick features. Thanks for linking up and showing off your best recipe, DIYs and projects!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #32

It’s Saturday night! Welcome to the Found & Foraged Linky Party! As most of you know, having a really exciting blogger day is few and far between, but I had some serious excitement last Sunday afternoon. I had my first viral post…courtesy of Buzzfeed! My Champagne Smash cocktail recipe was #5 on the list. I was totally doing the Snoopy dance…and still am. I also took over the Chairish blog for the day to share my tips and tricks on styling your nightstand.

On the blog, I’m hosting a giveaway with Cellular Window Shades. If you’re in the market for window treatments or know anyone who is, go enter to win. I recently installed them in the house, and they are awesome. I also posted a new cocktail recipe called a Hugo over on Live Laugh Rowe. My mother-in-law introduced it to me while visiting Germany; it’s delicious! If you have the ingredients, I highly suggest you go make yourself one now.

Today, I went to the Randolph Flea Market in downtown Chicago and got to meet Canary Lane. Their kilim rugs from Turkey are swoon worthy, as is the handmade furniture. Incredibly sweet and wonderful people. Their site is being revamped, but you can check out their Facebook or Instagram. Just don’t buy the one twenty rugs that I’m lusting over. Anyhoo, back to the flea, I picked up some really great treasures and can’t wait to share them with you.

I also got a tweet from Summer Thornton Design yesterday about their 2-Day Moving Flea. Score of the century you guys! A gold faux bamboo etagere that is out or this world AND an almost matching bar cart. If you don’t know Summer, her designs have been recently featured in Lonny Magazine, Domino and Rue Magazine just to name a few. Ya, she’s kind of a big deal. I’ll be doing a post soon on the entire haul from today. Let’s start this party already!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #27

So I just have to send a big thank you to you all. This linky party has helped me connect with so many new bloggers and see so many fun projects every week. You have all made this party so incredibly amazing, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This past week I swear I wanted to feature every single post. You all are so talented. Thank you for sharing your blogs with me. It means so much to me.

This past week I posted my 10 Summer Beach Essentials, shared a super sneak peek into my bedroom makeover, and some fun ideas on Decorating With Pink! Oh and one more fun thing, I was guest posting on Live Laugh Rowe last week and made this super fun printable that is free to download. Go get it! Don’t forget, next Saturday, May 23, I’m taking a little mini vacation from Found & Foraged. We will start back up on May 30…so mark your calendars. So what do you say? You ready to get this linky party started? I know I am!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #26

Hey! Hey! Hey! It’s Saturday night! And that can only mean one thing…it’s Found & Foraged linky party night! Well, for me that means only one thing. Ha! For you it might mean a fun bonfire, steak dinner, nachos and beer, a couple glasses of wine maybe? What fun things are you up to right now?

Did you all have a great week? I sure did! I designed a really cute free printable for Live Laugh Rowe. I have to say, it may just be my favorite printable to date. Please check it out and give it a download. I also wrote about floor flair. Ya, I didn’t know what it was either. And one REALLY important announcement. I’m going to take a week off to hang with my little family and focus on the kiddies. So May 23rd there will be no linky party. But just that one night. I promise. I’ll post a little reminder that evening as well. I hope it doesn’t inconvenience anyone. And now, let’s get this party started!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #25

Hello! Hello! Hello you guys! Happy Found & Foraged linky party night! How’s everyone’s weekend? Mine, not too shabby! I feel like I’m finally catching up. Wahoo! March and April are always whirlwind months for me at work and home which means night time motivation is hard to come by. I apologize for my lack of posts. Lookout May and Spring, I’m back! Speaking of May, seriously, it was like summer outside today! We spent all day outside. Playing with the kids. Got the bubble machine out. The Boy was playing with his new toy…ya, he apparently had to buy himself a drone. *eyeroll with a grin* It has a few grass stains and 2 broken propellers, but he’s having fun with and that’s all that matters.

I’ve also finally finished All The Light We Cannot See for the HOH book club. I’ll have my full review on the blog Monday. If you’ve read it or are in the process of reading it, I’d love to get your take on it on the discussion page. Oh and don’t forget to check out my gift list for Mother’s Day. It’s a good one! Oh and one more thing…last one, I promise. People have asked me about Found & Foraged linky party badges. I can never get the code to come through properly from my Mac, but I have added them to the sidebar ————–>> If you want one, please go ahead and grab one. Oh, I lied ONE MORE THING! If you live in the Chicagoland are or get WGN TV the CW, be sure to tune in tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd at 11AM. Weekend Workbench will be featuring me on their Home Hack segment! Yep, that’s right, I’m one of their new experts. Wahoo!
