Found & Foraged Linky Party #34

Hello! Hello! Welcome to the Found & Foraged Linky Party! Did you guys have an amazing Fourth Of July? Ours was quiet but still busy. The Boy and I took the kiddos to the carnival and let Little Dude stay up late to watch the fireworks. That is with one stipulation; don’t tell your sister you get to stay up. He abided by that rule, but you could tell it was difficult to hold in the excitement. At one point he ran over to her and jumped up and down like a banshee and said, “Nevermind!” and ran away. Little weirdo.

We put Little Maus to sleep and Little Dude waited politely in his room until I got him. He was give the choice to watch ET or (old school) Willy Wonka. I described both plot lines and let him study the DVD covers. He felt ET might be too scary and opted for Willy Wonka. Meanwhile, The Boy was making tacos for our dinner. I made a tasty libation. About twenty minutes past when Little Dude says, “Hey Mommy. Hey Daddy. Is this what you guys do every night?” The Boy and I kinda giggled and said, “Ummmm, ya???” He said, “Cool!!!!” We topped off his evening with an ice cream bar while he was dressed as Luke Skywalker. What a kid.

Well, let’s get this party started already, shall we? Again you guys brought your A Game with you. Every project was on point and glowing! Loved them all! Here are a few features.

Found & Foraged Linky Party #25

Hello! Hello! Hello you guys! Happy Found & Foraged linky party night! How’s everyone’s weekend? Mine, not too shabby! I feel like I’m finally catching up. Wahoo! March and April are always whirlwind months for me at work and home which means night time motivation is hard to come by. I apologize for my lack of posts. Lookout May and Spring, I’m back! Speaking of May, seriously, it was like summer outside today! We spent all day outside. Playing with the kids. Got the bubble machine out. The Boy was playing with his new toy…ya, he apparently had to buy himself a drone. *eyeroll with a grin* It has a few grass stains and 2 broken propellers, but he’s having fun with and that’s all that matters.

I’ve also finally finished All The Light We Cannot See for the HOH book club. I’ll have my full review on the blog Monday. If you’ve read it or are in the process of reading it, I’d love to get your take on it on the discussion page. Oh and don’t forget to check out my gift list for Mother’s Day. It’s a good one! Oh and one more thing…last one, I promise. People have asked me about Found & Foraged linky party badges. I can never get the code to come through properly from my Mac, but I have added them to the sidebar ————–>> If you want one, please go ahead and grab one. Oh, I lied ONE MORE THING! If you live in the Chicagoland are or get WGN TV the CW, be sure to tune in tomorrow, Sunday, May 3rd at 11AM. Weekend Workbench will be featuring me on their Home Hack segment! Yep, that’s right, I’m one of their new experts. Wahoo!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #20

Woah you guys! 20 weeks of Found & Foraged! I know in like a year I’ll probably giggle at my amazement, but seriously, 20 weeks! That’s 5 months! How cool is that? I have to thank each and every one of you for making this a community to share and explore each other’s work. I’ve met so many new bloggers and discovered so many amazing projects and recipes. BTDubs, I’m still eating the Cheesy Taco Skillet. Bahahaha. We might need an intervention. It’s become my Saturday night party meal. Or maybe I just have a thing with food right now because tonight’s features seem to have a theme of yummy recipes.

Did you all have a good week? I had kind of an adventure last Saturday night. If you’ve been here before, you all know we’ve had the plague in and out of my house for a couple months now. I thought it was gone, but nope. It came back last Saturday night with Little Maus. Ended up at the ER during the linky party, and I have to send a big thank you to all of you who commented. Each one of you put a huge smile on my face that night. And in case you’re concerned, it was nothing to worry about. Just a nasty virus with a nasty fever. Little Maus is back to her sassy, stinker self as of last Wednesday night and cranked to eleven.

Last week I posted The Girl On The Train discussion page for the House Of Hipsters’ book club. If you’ve read the book, want to read the book, or are in the process of reading the book, I invite you to join in the discussion in the comments section at any time. We’d love to have you. It’s no pressure and no obligation…come and go as you wish. And I announced that the next book is All The Light We Cannot See in case you missed it. I also posted my second style post! EEP! Those fashion posts make this old lady really self conscious, but they are still fun. Oh! And I also am co-hosting this rad giveaway with a bunch of bloggers to celebrate Table + Hearth’s 1 year blogiversary. Be sure to enter to win because it’s a good one! We are giving away a $300 Pottery Barn eGift Card! Anyhoo, shall we get to some features?
