Found & Foraged Linky Party #7

Adios 2014! Hellooooo 2015! Happy New Year you guys and welcome back to another Found & Foraged Linky Party! We’ve been on vacation for the passed couple weeks…had to take a bit of a blogger break to recharge the old batteries. I hope you all were able to rest and relax as well. Did you have a wonderful Christmas full of family fun? We stayed home. I took a couple weeks off form my real job and just rested. I even took a few naps! I girl could get use to that, but alas, reality has set in and here I am.

Since we took a week off from Found & Foraged and most link ups were Christmas driven, the group decided to start off 2015 fresh. We are going to show you our one and only none Christmas, none New Year’s post. I looked back on the old blogroll and man, HOH is a bit old and moldy with me vacationing, eatin’ bon bons and watching daytime TV. But don’t you worry your pretty little heads. We have some great content planned for this year, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #6

Welcome to the Found & Foraged linky party! Phew you guys! I’ve finally completed all my Christmas shopping and with 5 days to spare. How are you fairing? Are you scrambling around like crazy, or are you cool, calm and collected? I still have to wrap but made it. This year I’ve felt really behind, and I’m unsure why. Maybe it’s because I was too focused on our New Year’s Eve partying? But I’ve made it unscathed and only slightly frazzled, and that’s all that matters.

Last week’s Found & Foraged really kicked the holidays into high gear for me. All the beautiful projects and recipes you posted. Everything was oh so beautiful. We’ve loved visiting your blogs and getting to know each and every one of you. Again, we thank you for taking the time to link up here and share a bit of your lives with us. PLEASE NOTE! We are going to take next week off December 27th. And resume with the linky party in the new year, January 3rd.

With that being said, tonight we welcome you to link up your DIY’s, house projects, vintage finds, shopping scores, upcycled projects, foraged decor, recipes…whatever you have been working on! We host this linky party every Saturday at 8PM (Central Time). So be sure to add us to your calendar and check back weekly to party with us!

Found & Foraged #5

Happy Saturday you guys! Did everyone have a good week? Not too shabby over here at House Of Hipsters. I’ve been super busy putting on a totally not real, wish it was real New Year’s Eve party called the Wildwood Speakeasy with my gals Grace and Laura. We submitted a mood board a couple months back in hopes to win tickets to Alt Summit. Meh, we didn’t win but no hard feelings here. Conned our boys into letting us go anyway! Woohoo!

We still really wanted to throw this party though, even if it was a virtual party with all our wonderful readers. So, over the past week we’ve been posting DIYs and party ideas every single day! Yowza! I need a disco nap! If you’re hosting New Year’s Eve this year and need some party ideas check it out! I hate to toot my own horn, but man we knocked it out of the park!

Wildwood Speakeasy New Year’s Party

Today my blogger besties over at Avery Street Design and The Big Reveal bring you the Wildwood Speakeasy New Year’s Eve theme party tailored just for you! That’s right, today and every day for the rest of the week, we are going to give you everything you need to make this theme party happen in your home. Free invitations to download, home decor, backdrops for a photobooths, specialty cocktail recipes, EVERYTHING! The key is, you have to visit all 3 blogs to get everything you need. One of us will have the post while the other two will post the feature photo and direct you to whoever is posting that day. Am I even making sense? OK, let’s make this easy, just stop back here every day, and I’ll direct you like one of those dudes at the airport with the fancy orange sticks, as to whose blog you want to visit for the deets that particular day.

So what is the Wildwood Speakeasy? Here’s a little background. A couple months ago, Laura and Grace asked me to join them on a quest. A quest to win free tickets to the Alt Summit blogger conference in Salt Lake City. We created a mood board for an uber cool mini party. Long story short, we didn’t win (however, we are still going…yep, that’s right, so exciting!), but we really wanted to follow through on our concept, and we wanted to share it with you, our sweet readers.
