New Year’s Eve Etiquette Guide to Hostess Gifts

When I hosted my very first New Year’s Eve party, I was just past the age of keg stands in a basement. At the time, I was dating a guy who was a bit older than me, and his friends were invited. Friends who had apparently read the etiquette guide to hostess gifts. One by one they walked through the door handing me pretty packages pretty packages containing cheese boards, wine, scented candles, fancy soaps, and champagne! I’m sorry what!?!?! No one had told me about hostess gifts. The only gift I had been bringing to parties was a beer bong. This gift-giving thing had made all the cooking and cleaning and running around nonsense a whole lot more tolerable. Bring. It. On.

The New Year's Eve etiquette guide to hostess gifts. Want a unique gift to bring to your next New Year's Eve party! I have great gift ideas that your host will love!

New Year’s Eve Party Games with Tiny Prints

Every year I get ambitious and send out holiday cards to everyone I know. Crazy? Maybe a little bit, but I make it easy on myself by using Tiny Prints. They have such a great selection of card designs to choose from, and all I have to do is upload a photo. Boom. Easy peasy and they’re magically printed and on my doorstep lickety split. This year I also purchased their personalize stamps, and oh my, we’ve received so many compliments.

Since I’m such a fan, imagine my surprise when I received an email last week from Tiny Prints! They asked me to take a look at their New Year’s Eve Party Games Generator. Well, with us just wrapping the New Year’s Eve Wildwood Speakeasy Party, how could I not? ERMERGERD! Yep, I’m on board and ready to slip into my party shoes! This thing is so cool you guys and completely free to use. Even better, am I right?

DIY Vintage Headpieces

IT’S DAY 6! I don’t mean to shout, BUT IT’S DAY 6!!!!!! I hope you guys have had as much fun with the Wildwood Speakeasy New Year’s Eve party as we have. I know I’ve said this before, but seeing it all come together has been so exciting. This past week has been like Christmas every day. Each morning I race to my computer to see what Laura from Avery Street Design and Grace from The Big Reveal have written and created. Since we aren’t neighbors, we really don’t get to see the full post until it goes live. Just a couple texts of pictures to make sure we’re all on board. Each post has been so insanely beautiful, I can’t even stand it. These ladies are truly talented and working with them has been just dreamy. But alas, all good things must come to an end. For our grand finale, Grace is going to wrap things up with a tutorial on gorgeous DIY Vintage Headpieces.

DIY Photobooth Backdrop

Hello! Hello you guys! It’s day three of the Wildwood Speakeasy New Year’s Eve theme party! Are you excited? I know I am. Whoohoo! Seriously you guys, y’all are watching this unfold and come together just as we are. It’s so exciting to see something you’ve kinda just dreamed up in your head become more then just a pretty picture. It’s our little Alt Summit baby! Someone HAS to throw this party. It’s the B.O.M.B.!!! And it’s just as Laura described it a couple months ago as my tired eyes were trying not to close while Google chatting. A bunch of rich kids drinking glam-slash-hipster-style in the woods. It’s a little luxe. It’s a little hipster. It’s a little rustic. And a whole lotta exclusive. Are you guys ready for a DIY photo booth backdrop? Everyone, in case you’ve missed her (Seriously, not sure how you could, she’s gorgeous!) meet Grace from The Big Reveal!
