Found & Foraged Linky Party #35

Welcome to the Found & Foraged Linky Party you guys! It’s Saturday night! What do you all have on your agenda? I have something big happening over here. HUGE actually! I’ve got my camera out, and I’m running around like a mad woman trying to get it all finished up. Can’t wait to tell you all about it. Crossing my T’s and dotting my I’s and hoping like heck it doesn’t fall thru like the last one did. Some we are just going to get right into the party tonight. I DO want to hear all about your week though. What did you do? Who did you see? Did you buy anything awesome? Any vintage treasures? Let me know!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #34

Hello! Hello! Welcome to the Found & Foraged Linky Party! Did you guys have an amazing Fourth Of July? Ours was quiet but still busy. The Boy and I took the kiddos to the carnival and let Little Dude stay up late to watch the fireworks. That is with one stipulation; don’t tell your sister you get to stay up. He abided by that rule, but you could tell it was difficult to hold in the excitement. At one point he ran over to her and jumped up and down like a banshee and said, “Nevermind!” and ran away. Little weirdo.

We put Little Maus to sleep and Little Dude waited politely in his room until I got him. He was give the choice to watch ET or (old school) Willy Wonka. I described both plot lines and let him study the DVD covers. He felt ET might be too scary and opted for Willy Wonka. Meanwhile, The Boy was making tacos for our dinner. I made a tasty libation. About twenty minutes past when Little Dude says, “Hey Mommy. Hey Daddy. Is this what you guys do every night?” The Boy and I kinda giggled and said, “Ummmm, ya???” He said, “Cool!!!!” We topped off his evening with an ice cream bar while he was dressed as Luke Skywalker. What a kid.

Well, let’s get this party started already, shall we? Again you guys brought your A Game with you. Every project was on point and glowing! Loved them all! Here are a few features.

Found & Foraged Linky Party #33

Happy 4th of July you guys! Well, I’m sure a lot of you won’t be linking up right at 8PM tonight because you’re watching a beautiful display of fireworks. In fact, you’re probably reading this, enjoying your coffee, and it’s actually July 5th. Don’t worry, I’m not holding it against ya! Besides, unless it’s Wednesday at noon, you’re never late to the Found & Foraged Linky Party.

This past week was a good one for me. I feel like I’m finally catching up. I showed off my recent vintage rattan finds, and I finally posted Part 2 of my Decorist guest bedroom makeover. I have only a few more things to accomplish on the to-do-list, and I’ll be posting the final reveal. The painter was here yesterday, and I just returned from Sherwin Williams. Swatches in hand. Who knew picking out the perfect white could be so difficult???

We had so many great projects last week, you all made it very difficult to pick features. Thanks for linking up and showing off your best recipe, DIYs and projects!

Found & Foraged Linky Party #31

Welcome to the Found & Foraged Linky Party! Argh! You guys! Have you ever had one of those weeks where you had every intention of writing a blog post, but there were never enough hours in the day to complete it? This past week was THE FIRST time where other things took precedence over the blog. We are at end of our fiscal year at work, so we are trying to wrap up all our projects and on the blog side, I kinda over extended myself a bit. Before I left for Germany, I had a few people contact me for projects. Yeah me! I was like ya, sure, but not until I return from vacation…well, I seemed to have said that a few times too many. Oopsies. So I apologize for my absence. I will try really hard not to let that happen again…ever. Pinky swear. Cross my heart.

So what are all these projects I’m working on? I’m still wrapping up the room for Decorist. Almost everything has arrived. I have a really fun post hitting Chairish tomorrow (Sunday) with all my hints and tips for styling and creating the perfect vignette. I’m also working on an interview with this cool rug company and hanging some new blinds in the living room. Yep, that’s right…all those wooden blinds have left the building! Ya baby! And I can’t forget to tell you about Fry Sauce and Grits. Courtney wanted to spend a bit more time with her wee one, and she asked me to guest post. I shared my very first free wallpaper download with my “Some Bunny Loves You” photos. You can dress your tech (computer, tablet and phone) in a whole lotta pink fanciness if you stop over. I’m contemplating doing more of these. I’d love some feedback from you guys.

Found & Foraged Linky Party #29

Where did the week go? I returned from vacation bright eyed and bushy tailed…the world was calm and serene and then blammo! Back to reality. But such is life I guess. I’ve been playing catch up this week on emails and work. I’m behind on my blog posts too, BUT I have a really special post on Monday all ready to go, and it’s a doozy. It’s from my favorite series, “I Make Emily Henderson Cry”, and I can’t wait to share it with you. This week I did post my Mix & Match Style Challenge with Chairish. A dream room I’m ready to move into immediately.

Today was spent working in the Decorist guest bedroom. Hanging curtains, lamp shades and mirrors. I need to wrap up my shopping and slap some paint in that sucka! Then it’s off to sand down the picnic table. Fingers crossed it turns out. With all the DIY projects on my to-do-list, I must have channeled that into tonight’s linky party. There’s a whole lotta clever DIY projects featured this evening. Lots of spring clean and such I guess you could say. What are you guys up to this weekend?
