I SWEAR IT’S FOR REAL THIS TIME! I super suck right now with dates. BUT, I PINKY SWEAR, it’s working now. I think I need to take another look at this new planner. Is this thing on? Check one, Check two. Ok…working.
I’m so sorry you guys! I just wanted to quickly drop in today to let you know I’m over at Live Laugh Rowe with a super fun FREE Wallpaper Download. Inspiration set in when I kinda felt like I was drowning a few weeks back. AN overload of work, life and dealines.
Instead of facing the music and buckling down the chin strap, I of course took pictures of gold paperclips. I know, I know…so not productive, and not the most practical way to spend my time. But in a way it was. It reminded me to get organized already. “Start Somewhere” I decided to make it a wallpaper to remind me every day…and you can too. Download it for free to your laptop, computer, tablet or phone. Just head on over to Live Laugh Rowe.

Happy almost Valentine’s Day lovers!!! Seriously, how did THAT happen? This is always one of those hallmark holidays that sneaks up on me. It’s like I sail through Thanksgiving thinking I’m on top of my game and get clobbered by Christmas. When I was a kid V-Day was a favorite of mine. I loved exchanging those tiny cards with Bugs Bunny or Strawberry Shortcake. The boys would give Transformers and Star Wars cards. Each envelope would be attached with a heart shaped sucker, stuffed with “talking” hearts or SweetTarts. You’d eat pink frosted cupcakes and paste a doily and big red heart on a brown paper bag to collected your loot. Well, this year’s different. I’m celebrating and gifting you two Valentine’s Day free printables! How ya like them apples?

When Grace from The Big Reveal ask me to design holiday gift tags for her “Creative Ways to Package Holiday Cookies” post, I kinda jumped for joy (and declared myself insane). That’s totally normal, right? I know, I know, it sounds weird especially since we spent the entire week cranking out the Wildwood Speakeasy New Year’s Eve party last week. Grace had leverage though. She bribed me by showcasing them on Twin Cities Live today. And I can now say I was on TV…well, kinda. Ok, ok, my holiday gift tags were on TV with Laura’s nuts…technically NOT me, but hey, I’ll take it! At least I can say I know a TV star! Besides, I had started designing these a while back but became too busy to finish, but still itching to complete. This was just the
nudge shove I needed to put on the final touches (and finally decide on a color scheme). I mean, they’ve only been sitting on my desktop since October. (I might be a bit of a procrastinator.)
