Tuesdays are for __________. My answer? Cocktail time! I know, I know, it’s been such a long time since I shared a fun cocktail recipe, but I’m going to make it up to you by hitting you with a doozy. Now, normally after a couple weeks, I get bored with my cocktail of choice, and I have to change it up. But, this one has been on heavy rotation since my New Year’s Eve party. I thought the Champagne Smash was going to be the cocktail of choice that night, but boy was I wrong. Everyone kept saying, “Hey Kyla! Can you make me another one of those orange guys?” Sure thing! Comin’ right up.

Hugo Cocktail Recipe

As most of you know, I recently returned from visiting family in Germany. Taking the kids across the pond was slightly terrifying, but when I entered my in-laws home, I was promptly greeted with a Hugo cocktail. I had never had one before, but it contained champagne and smelled delicious. Well, it was just what the doctor ordered. For the Hugo cocktail recipe and a few more details on my vacation, head on over to Live Laugh Rowe today. BTDubs, is it happy hour o’clock yet???

Vegetable Cheese Chowder

Hi guys! I’ve been meaning to share this vegetable cheese chowder recipe with you for quite some time. So before Spring is sprung, I best get on it. While growing up in Wisconsin, I knew fall was in the air when my mom would pull this recipe out. Hats, mittens, gloves and winter coats would be dragged out of the back of closet. With a brisk nip in the air, this chowder was always a welcomed warm treat. The weather in Chicago has been so cold lately. It wasn’t until last weekend we got above freezing, and no, I’m not ready to put away that goose down parka. In fact, I’d put money on us having one more big snow storm because that is how mother nature rolls in the midwest. Okay, enough jibber jabber, right? Let’s get to the yumminess!

Champagne Smash Cocktail Recipe

Hey, hey you guys! Have you missed me? I just wanted to pop in really quick from vacation to let you know about this amazing signature cocktail for New Year’s Eve! Cocktail parties are super fun, but to make it a bit fancier, I like to have a little sumthin’ sumthin’ special up my sleeve. Something my guests will remember. With New Year’s Eve being tomorrow, I decided to share one of my favorites with you my little lovelies! Really quick, the Champagne Smash cocktail recipe.

If you’ve been here before, you know I like to indulge in a cocktail or two (okay, maybe three or four on occasion, who am I kidding). But, if you’re new and just happened to land here today by pure luck, be sure to check out The Indie Wild Mule, the classic Wisconsin Old-Fashioned and of course The Poor Liza if you’re throwing The Wildwood Speakeasy New Year’s Bash! Yes, I will definitely be sipping on a Poor Liza tomorrow night, but that baby packs a punch and it doesn’t include champagne…which is kinda what I’m craving right now, and this sucka has bubbly perfection for a special occasion (eh-hem like midnight).
